Re-Visit Children’s Building Project

Image

Super-Cool!  Check out this RE-VISIT to the Public Workshop at National Building Museum – Posted a year ago.  In March of 2011, Cardboard Safari created hundreds of cardboard disks for Alex Gilliam of Public Workshop for an interactive children’s project at the National Building Museum.  See this link for more info and images. Also some Flickr images here.

Quote from Anna “My son had a great time putting these discs together at the building museum. Are these going to be available as a product to buy?”  “Yeah! I Couldn’t Wait Any Longer”

Supporting Computers For Kids

Cardboard Safari supports the local Charlottesville Computers4Kids mentoring program by donating used computer equipment. We are happy to be part of the Charlottesville business community helping our youth with a safe and fun place to learn after school. C4K is a excellent way for our youth to gain the technology training they need to get ahead, and the tools they need to do so.

Skull Appreciation Day

Cardboard Safari’s first skull design came form Richmond Virginia artist Noah Scalin from Skull-A-Day. We’re glad to help promote Skull Appreciation Day 2012 Exhibition/Giveaway! June 4th 2012 Mutter Museum, Philadelphia. http://skulladay.blogspot.com/2012/04/skull-appreciation-day-2012.html

BigHorn Rocky the Ram

Giant Rocky the Ram – In every wild flock of sheep there’s a mature ram which the others follow as a leader.  Giant Rocky the Ram is one of our BigHorn trophies and is leading the Cardboard Safari flock to ever newer grazing territory.  We’re busy designing new Cardboard Animal Trophies, Games, Things that Fly, and More.  www.cardboardsafari.com

THE antlers of Der Schwarze Kölner

Way back in December ’10 Der Schwarze Kölner Biergarten Brooklyn hosted a antler decorating contest using Buck Jr. as a starting point. You can see all the fun results here. The above photo shows Buck Jr. working as a beer tap – quite possibly the best use ever for a cardboard deer.
