THE antlers of Der Schwarze Kölner

Way back in December ’10 Der Schwarze Kölner Biergarten Brooklyn hosted a antler decorating contest using Buck Jr. as a starting point. You can see all the fun results here. The above photo shows Buck Jr. working as a beer tap – quite possibly the best use ever for a cardboard deer.

Back in the Saddle

January day in NY

Although the recent warm weather makes it seem a distant memory we did managed to exhibit at the NY International Gift Fair in late January.  The show was somewhat slow due to the weather but it was great to see some of our loyal retailers face to face and have a big slice of cheesecake with Luis at Carnegie Deli.

With the winter trade shows out of the way we can get on to some exciting new products and projects.

Jack Morton

Jack Morton , experiential marketing firm, is apparently a big fan of Cardboard Safari as they feature Bucky and Fred in their New York “Trophy Room”. Their clients include many of the very biggest brands in the world, including HP, GM, MTV, IBM, and a bunch of non-acronymed names, too. Among other impressive things, they designed that incredibly flashy ESPN SportsCenter desk and the Opening Ceremonies at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
